The Rev. YuJung Hwang is an ordained Elder in the Baltimore-Washington Conference. She was commissioned as an elder in 2013 and ordained in full connection to the Baltimore-Washington Conference in 2017. She has a Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary. Her first appointment was Alpha Community Church as associate pastor for one year. Her second appointment was Lisbon UMC as a lead pastor for two years. Her third appointment was Dickerson Charge (Dickerson UMC/ Forest Grove UMC) as a lead pastor for three years. She has been appointed to Stone Chapel UMC as a lead pastor since July 1, 2019. She is married to Dae Sung Park who is a lead pastor at Bethany Korean UMC, in Ellicott City, MD and has one daughter, Hannah.
