Announcements 11.10.19

Training Tuesdays are for those who are in the Stone Chapel ZOOM Committee, (online training) on Tuesdays starting in November-January from 7-8:30 pm. (recordings available after live webinar). For more information, see Pastor YuJung.


Next Prayer Meeting is Wed, Nov. 13th at 6:30pm,

with the Church Council meeting immediately following at 7pm.


The next date for our Loaves & Fishes meal is Saturday November 30th, 1030 am, at Church of the Brethren to prepare and serve the meal. Come on out and join the fun, everyone is welcome. We will pack lunches & prepare food here at church on Friday the 29th, at 6 pm. There is a signup sheet in the social hall for needed items.


Bible Study will be 11/20, 12/4, 12/11, & 12/18, at 7pm. Those who are interested in participating, please sign up or see Pastor YuJung.


SWAT meetings are the 1st and 3rd Thurs @ 6:30pm.


Our Christmas Eve Service will be a Candlelight Service at 11pm.


There will be a signup sheet in the social hall soon if you’d like to purchase a poinsettia for the altar. Indicate if it is in memory of or in honor of, for whom,

& the list will be printed in the bulletin. They are $8 each.


Thanksgiving Dinner (November 28th)

The Shepherd’s Staff will be hosting their 26th annual Thanksgiving Day Community Dinner on Thursday, November 28, 2019 from 12pm-2pm. All are welcome to enjoy a traditional home-cooked dinner, offered free of charge and served in St. John Roman Catholic Church’s Portico, 43 Monroe Street, Westminster. Donations of fruit pies, wrapped candy, apples, and oranges are especially needed and can be brought to St. John’s Catholic School’s cafeteria on Wednesday, November 27th between 3pm and 7pm.

Holiday Benefit Concert (December 14th)

NESAP and The Shepherds Staff present a Holiday Benefit Concert and Community Sing, Assembled by Masterworks Chorale of Carroll County on December 14, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester, MD. Admission is free but tickets are required and can be obtained by registering at https://holidaybenefitconcert.bpt.me/. A charitable donation of personal care essentials, wipes, baby items, or nonperishable food items will be your entrance fee. A free-will offering will be taken. All items go to NESAP and The Shepherds Staff. Inclement weather or emergency notifications will be available at 410-857-5944 on The Shepherds Staff, NESAP and Masterworks Chorale of Carroll County's Facebook pages.
